1. Brief Introduction

GD32303R-BLDC Demo Suites is based on brushless DC motor using square wave control algorithm, which can perform double closed-loop control of motor speed and bus current, enabling developers to quickly and easily use GD32MCU for BLDC motor control applications.

GD32303R-BLDC Demo Suites supports GD32F30x(Cortex®-M4), GD32F3x0(Cortex®-M4), GD32F4xx(Cortex®-M4), GD32VF103(RISC-V) and many other MCU series.

2. Function Description

The BLDC Motor Control Development Kits with square wave control algorithm provided by GigaDevice supports multi-series MCUs, and has a strong compatibility. Moreover, the demo suites have a variety of human-machine interface. For example, the motor running state can be shown on the OLED screen by I2C communication interface, and the waveform of system variable can be printed on upper computer by USART. Moreover, state control, direction selection and speed regulation can be separately achieved by key, dial switch and knob actuator.

The power supply voltage of the demo solution is 24V, and the rated current is up to 2A. Double closed-loop control about speed and bus current can be achieved, and the matching BLDC motor speed is up to 5000rpm.

The demo suites support advanced square wave control algorithm and different rotor positioning modes. Those modes can be selected by developers according to their own requirements. Additionally, there are hardware circuit self-check and comprehensive protections for motor in the demo suites to ensures the safety and stability of the system while the motor runs efficiently.

3. Main Features

By application of the mature square wave control algorithm, supporting a variety of rotor positioning methods, users can choose according to their needs, in addition to the hardware circuit self-test and a variety of motor protection functions, ensuring the safety and stability of the system while operating efficiently.
