1. Brief Introduction
GD32E230K Vacuum Cleaner solution adopts a sensorless algorithm for high-speed control of the vacuum cleaner motor, allowing dual closed-loop control of the motor speed and bus current, which enables customers use the GD32MCU for similar scenarios.

2. Function Description
In order to shorten the development cycle and make it convenient for developers, GigaDevice provides a vacuum cleaner application solution based on GD32E230K8T6 MCU. The rotor position is obtained by comparing the motor counter-electromotive force using the chip's built-in multi-channel high-speed comparator, and according to the detected rotor position, it is commutated every 60° electrical angle to make the rotor follow the stator magnetic field rotation. At the same time, double closed-loop control scheme composed of speed outer loop and current inner loop is implemented to adjust PWM duty cycle to achieve high-accurate control for speed. The solution is simple and convenient for software design to achieve the better control with low-cost hardware.
3. Main Features
• The solution uses the GD32E230K8T6 as the main control chip, with ARM® Cortex®-M23 core up to 72MHz for efficient and low power operation
• Use the built-in multi-channel high-speed comparator to achieve sensorless square wave drive for vacuum cleaner motors by comparing motor counter-electromotive force (EMF) and virtual neutral point voltage of the vacuum cleaner motor
• 24V power supply, rated power 350W, achieves fewer peripheral devices and excellent control effect, motor speed up to 100000rpm
