1. Brief Introduction
The BUCK circuit is a step-down circuit, which features an output voltage lower than the input voltage. By controlling the duty cycle of MOS tubes, the high voltage can be converted to a low voltage with high conversion efficiency.

2. Function Description
The SMPS Demo board based on the GD32E503C MCU uses 220V mains power provided by a three-pin Pin socket. The demo board can set the output voltage and maximum current through the five-way switch and rotary encoder, and display the output voltage and current in real time through the 2.2" TFT LCD. The demo board provides peripheral resources such as SWD interface, USART debug port, Reset button, buzzer and cooling fan, which can realize protection functions such as overvoltage, undervoltage detection, overcurrent detection and overheat detection.
